When my head is on fire…

My head is on fire. *

I am exhausted.

I am afraid.

I need to sleep, but I am restless.

I search Netflix for a TV show or movie to help me fall asleep.

I find “Atelier”.

Mental Massage

Atelier

“A young “fabric geek” lands a job at an upscale Japanese lingerie company — and quickly discovers she’ll need help to survive. … Naïve Mayuko seems like a strange new hire for the booming high-end lingerie brand Emotion, but her boss has a secret plan for the company.”  Netflix

Filmed in Japanese, it has subtitles.  The plot is simple and easy. The characters, for the most part, are lovable.

It teaches me about Japanese culture. It has interesting scenes of Tokyo.

The young protagonist and her colleagues remind me of the Japanese students who have stayed at my home.

It is endearing.

There are happy endings.

It is a great diversion.

*My 34-year old daughter-in-law was diagnosed with stage 4 lung and brain cancer a couple of weeks ago.  She and my son have an 8-month old baby.  I am at the hospital with them providing love and support and helping with the baby.

My thank you to everyone who has been so kind and supportive.
