If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.

  1. Lori, I cannot imagine. My heart sinks for your family. I do understand sometimes the only way to survive in times like this is to be the strength in public and let our broken hearts cry in private. Aloha is a big and many faceted word, I wrap it around you and yours.

  2. I hate cancer. I just lost a friend to it. Can’t express how much I wish you and your family the best. Keep your head up and stay strong. My thoughts are with you and your daughter-in-law, Lori.

    Sometimes life just isn’t fair.

  3. Computer crashed here so I have been off line for several days. I missed so much a connection from you that allowed me to ‘from a distance’ journey in a very limited way with you on this valley road you walk. Prayers and love.
