  1. It is a beautiful photo Lori, but it saddens me every time i see something like it.
    I’m not saying this altar is made of cut stone, but it has steps leading to it.
    Why is it that Christian churches seem to choose deliberately to deny the word of God or are they simply not aware of it?
    “And if you will make me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of hewn stone: for if you lift up your tool on it, you have polluted it. Neither shall you go up by steps to my altar, that your nakedness be not discovered thereon.”
    God to Moses in Exodus 20:25,26.
    Neither are we to make any graven image of anything in Heaven or on Earth and bow down to it.

  4. I am not sure how anyone would not see the beauty and care displayed in this church chapel. I believe in the gathering of people in prayer and faith. Also, really prefer Jesus who gave us the New Testament. 🙂 The old was replaced with the new, where Love thy neighbor as thyself was to replace judgment. ❤

  5. This is beautiful. It has simplicity and ‘holiness’. The Presence of Christ in the people who have prayed or worshipped remains in some chapels. Oh how I love visiting such places! Presence in the days in which we live so VITAL. Christ is the LIVING WORD. May He ever be revered in such places of peace and sanctity!.
