A plant that has managed to survive my brown thumb!

This lovely cactus was a birthday gift last year from a dear friend.

I have mostly ignored it which I understand cacti prefer.

I was thrilled to see small blossoms appearing in the last few days.

Am I joining the ranks of those chosen few whose flowers and plants actually live more than one season??

  1. Beautiful plant Lori! I am trying something different. A collection of pot plants on a stand being water drip fed by an overturned bottle of water held up by a regulated spike in the soil. Maybe they will survive our baking Summer. I’ll post a pic if successful. All the best to you.
