I have a love/hate relationship with this tree.
It frames the window of my office and brings me joy all year long.
In spring, soft green buds appear.
In summer, the leaves are a rich green.
Fall brings leaves that are gold, yellow and orange.
Even in winter when the leaves are gone, the bare branches offer a lacy pattern against the daily gray skies.
So, what’s the problem?
Everyday, for what seems like weeks on end, I sweep and rake the fallen leaves.
I go out at first light, often in the rain.
I clean up the leaves knowing that I will repeat this the next day and the day after that until all the leaves have fallen.
Like many beautiful things, there is a price to pay.
In this case, well worth it.
It’s a beautiful tree

Kind of like changing a baby’s diapers. You love the baby but poop is still poop. (Sorry for the graphic language).

This is like us. We are divinely loved but often make lots of messes in our life but He will restore if we say sorry. Love restores and appreciates inner beauty. The tree cant speak but you have sensitivity to value its trouble as well as its beauty. I love this sharing. Blessings!

She ‘leaves’ a very beautiful pattern, a reflection of her on the ground. Let her be…so that you can see…her beauty on the ground. And when she has finished that masterpiece, appreciate it and then clear the canvas so she can delight you again next autumn. As for the neighbors, ask them if they have ever watched a masterpiece take shape before 😀❤️🙏🏽
