Walking down an alley, I saw this request on a neighbor’s backyard fence.
So, I complied.
I smiled and immediately felt better.
I felt a connection with my neighbor or whoever wrote this.
The neighborhood felt less lonely.
A simple smile
In February I had to get up at 2 A.M. to catch an early shuttle to the airport.
I deaded hearing the alarm go off and staggering around to get ready.
Then I had an idea.
I put a sign on my bathroom counter that I would see first thing.
It read, “Remember to smile!”
I did smile and immediately I felt awake and excited about my upcoming trip to see my Grandson Aiden.
Just changing mental gears made my day of travel much better.
So simple.
PS. I am glad that I went in February as I have no idea when I will see Aiden and his family again.
Hard times for everyone. Sometimes we need to be reminded that we need to smile and we’ll feel better.

Lots of people are reaching out to touch, with posters and videos, waves across the street and small courtesies for strangers. It’s a grass roots movement toward compassion. So glad you’re smiling.

It has great power. I’ve seen it, in the middle of a highly emotional, angry argument…smash it to pieces because one party smiled 😀
And you don’t even have to purchase, borrow or steal one, its just waiting inside for us to use it ❤️
Great post dear lady, thank you for sharing your power 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋
