My last day

Writing in my daily journal, which is often a dumping ground for what’s happening in my life that day, I realized that this could be my last day.

Seriously, what if today turned out to be my last day?

What would I want this day to be? What would I do today? The first thing that popped into my head was to let my sons and grandchildren know that I loved them. Texts were sent.

Next, let other family and dear friends know that I loved them.  More texts.

On this Monday morning, I paid attention to what matters most to me.

I set aside reading work emails, paying bills, and running errands.

I can’t text my blogging community but I can tell you that your wisdom, your caring and your support have meant so much to me over the years.  ~Lori
