Still learning after all these years.

When I was young, I thought I would know just about everything by the time I graduated from college.

Hard to believe the egotism of youth!

As a wife, parent, neighbor, friend, employee, boss, entrepreneur I have been challenged to keep learning.  The depth of my ignorance is astounding.

I smile when I recall my youthful arrogance.  I try to remember my younger self when I deal with younger people who think they know it all.

I have come to understand that I can’t know everything.

I know that I often don’t know what I don’t know.

But,

I can ask, I can read, I can listen. I can learn.
