I know it’s spring in Oregon when Nicoletta’s Table adds Pisello inglese e insalate di barbabietole to their menu.

It is a favorite of mine!

Nicoletta’s Table does a fabulous job with all of their seasonal salads.

Then again, shouldn’t all salads be seasonal using fresh ingredients?

Now is the time…

“Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of the party” *

Like many things from my youth, this particular phrase had no meaning to me.

It was merely a mindless typing drill from when I learned to type years ago.

That is, until today, when I took  Ginny for a walk in downtown Lake Oswego, Oregon.
