I woke up early. I did not want to get up but I did convincing myself that I would feel even worse staying in bed.
I forced myself to dress, go downstairs, make a cup of coffee, drink some water and sit by the fire for a few minutes. This routine is how I start most of my days and have for years.

The bagels at Spielman Bagels are delicious.
There’s nothing like lox, a bagel and cream cheese with a side of capers and tomato slices.
This morning, I enjoyed my nosh with a strong cup of coffee. Love the artwork!
To think that I used to buy bagels from the grocery store, toast them and eat them with cream cheese and jelly.
Now that I have discovered real bagels, there is no turning back.
I could eat them everyday!
