Our dystopian world?
I was troubled by a recent article in the Florence, Alabama newspaper, The Times Daily.
I had to read it and digest it in the context of what it meant for the world that I live in now and the world that my grandchildren will inherit.
It left me feeling unsettled but determined.

We must use time creatively, and forever realize that the time is always ripe to do right.

I like that this quote from Dr. King is very succinct. It packs a powerful message.
How will I use my time? How will I be creative? Will I do the right thing?
I am trying to be more mindful in my life and more attentive to the “thin slices of joy” all around me.
My life is a work in progress.
