I woke up early. I did not want to get up but I did convincing myself that I would feel even worse staying in bed.
I forced myself to dress, go downstairs, make a cup of coffee, drink some water and sit by the fire for a few minutes. This routine is how I start most of my days and have for years.

They sold the company?
I couldn’t believe it when I heard the news in mid-November.
The company was sold and everything would close on December 31st.
In six weeks, I would be out of a job.

My friend called to tell me about some wonderful sheets that she found at an estate sale near my house. As you probably know, good sheets are terribly expensive. Well worth the price as they last forever, but still a shock when first purchased.
